The objective of this solution is to real-time notify clients of the delivery of their shows to their target television stations by automated Voice calls, SMS, and/or email message. The system also will extract a user defined section of video from the delivered show; overlay the extracted video with the station name, program name, a timestamp, and dynamically create a flash video (.flv) file as additional verification for the client.

The solution comprises of 2 components. A remote component that is installed on each of the remote servers located at the television stations, and a central server component that is installed on a single server at a central location.

1) A Remote Server component that is installed on the existing remote server located at the Television Station. This component runs as a Windows Service and has the following functionality:

• 2 way real-time information exchange with the central server.
• Monitor user defined folder(s) for the delivery of a video file.
• Dynamic retrieval of extraction parameters from central server on video detect
• Dynamic extraction of video snippit from delivered/detected broadcast video file.
• Dynamic generation of overlay graphics for watermarking extracted video
• On the fly creation of verification flash video file (.flv)
• Ability to handle multiple video input and output formats including MPEG 2 & 4 & H246 compression.
• Remotely controllable from central server

2) Central Server component. This is a web service application with both administrative and client login interfaces. All remote server components register and communicate with this component for both control and delivery confirmation data exchange. It comprises of the following functionality:

• 2 way real-time information exchange with the unlimited remote server components.
• Runs on and uses the following Microsoft Platforms: SQL Server 2008, IIS 7.0, Windows Server 2005/2008 (32 and 64Bit capable)
• Administrative login component to configure system and remote monitoring components
• Client login component for viewing delivery verification videos
• Can be configured to notify clients of delivery via Automated voice call, SMS text, and/or email
• Multi-recipient / Multi-message capable

• Can monitor for all types of shows (not restricted to only paid programming)
• Can be extended to monitor additional server processes and activity
• Can be interfaced to existing DGFastChannel central systems for more stream-lined interface/functionality
• Can be interfaced to other Intelligent Messaging Scheduling and Messaging products
